Develop the knowledge and practical skills necessary to operate drones safely and meet FAA Remote Pilot Certification standards. The course addresses the five FAA knowledge areas—regulations, the national airspace system, weather, aeronautical chart interpretation, and operational procedures—and includes hands-on experience with drone flight and flight management software. 2 credits (1.5 lecture hours, and 2 laboratory hours) 10-week course
